Amazon controls more than 40% of the internet. On 25th November, AWS servers were down in a part of the USA. As a result, people were not able to vacuum their house (Roomba), use their doorbell, etc.

What does it mean for you? Are we totally dependent on AWS (or Amazon)?

For the most part, YES!! Most of the services we use, including Netflix, Slack, Adobe, etc. are hosted on Amazon.

If Amazon goes down, we all go down!!
